Dr. Kia, the owner and lead dentist at Blooming Smiles Dental is a highly trained and internationally known professional who has devoted her life to make people's life better through her dental works.
Dr. Kia describes her cosmetic dentistry approach as the harmony between aesthetics and health. She believes that a healthy and attractive smile can significantly improve self-confidence, social interactions, professional opportunities and even mental health.
She believes oral health is connected to overall health. During her dental education in Europe, she completed 3 years of medical university courses and always considers her patients' overall health. She tailors care to meet the individual needs of each patient, considering factors like age, medical history, and lifestyle. This personalized method leads to improved oral health results.
Besides offering the highest level of general and cosmetic dental services to patients, she holds a position as Adjunct Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry, where she teaches dental students on the latest dental techniques and technology.
Dr. Kia had never considered the practice of dentistry as just a clinical exercise. It was, for her, the practice of a “caring art”, through which she can improve other people's life.

Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry in Iran.
She has practiced dentistry for years in Asia, Europe and the USA. This versatile international experience provided her with the knowledge of wide range of dental and medical techniques and procedures.
Dr. Kia did her residency at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx affiliated with the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical College. Lincoln hospital being a level I. trauma center, one of the busiest programs in the USA has a top-notch oral surgery program. During residency, Dr. Kia worked closely with the oral surgery team and emerged in dental surgical solutions. Furthermore, during her on-calls at the emergency department she was responsible for the professional treatment and restoration of varied face related injuries, trauma or disease.
In her second year residency, as a chief resident, she further enhanced her experience in surgical extractions, root canal therapy and aesthetic works together with implant dentistry.
Dr. Kia is a frequent international presenter. Her latest lectures include:
'Aesthetic Gum Line Surgery' at Weill Cornell Medical College,
'Full Mouth Implant Restoration' and
'The Essential Aspects of Smile Design' at Semmelweis University in Budapest.
Dr. Kia is a preferred Invisalign provider.
Dr. Kia is also devoted to upkeep and promote healthy diet. In her free time, she is writing her own blog: Salad Creations for Busy Professionals, and practicing Bikram Yoga.
